Testimonials
David is a very calm and gentle counselor, he is extremely understanding and has so many awesome exercises to help ease your mind in the middle of any sort of panic. I’m so thankful to be able to reach out as needed and have a weekly scheduled meeting on the phone. |
David is a great therapist. He is very professsional, understanding and intelligent. He has a good sense of humor, which I think helps a lot. His style also consists of a gentle but directive approach, where he will be able to call things to your attention that can be addressed better in the moment. Highly recommended. |
David was so helpful, he gave me assignments that really helped me realize my value and self worth. He helped me think outside of the box. I would highly recommend David! |
David is not only easy to talk to but he makes counseling fun. I was very discouraged by past counselors but he makes me want to come to our sessions. David is friendly yet professional. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
While I do not accept insurance, I am able to provide a “super-bill” upon request for potential reimbursement.
Why don’t you accept insurance?
Insurance requires a diagnosis and while we can discuss that, I believe strongly that you are more than a label. Clients have found freedom in exploring every part of their life.
What type of therapy do you offer?
I offer individual and couples therapy, based on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Gottman.
Do you offer coaching?
I believe what we’re all interested in is making improvements in our lives and learning to live more openly and with less suffering. Since I do not accept insurance, I don’t draw much distinction between therapy and coaching. The focus is and always will be on helping you move forward on your goals.
