Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

While I do not accept insurance, I am able to provide a “super-bill” upon request for potential reimbursement.

Why don’t you accept insurance?

Insurance requires a diagnosis and while we can discuss that, I believe strongly that you are more than a label. Clients have found freedom in exploring every part of their life.

What type of therapy do you offer?

I offer individual and couples therapy, based on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Gottman.

Do you offer coaching?

I believe what we’re all interested in isĀ making improvements in our lives and learning to live more openly and with less suffering. Since I do not accept insurance, I don’t draw much distinction between therapy and coaching. The focus is and always will be on helping you move forward on your goals.
